How to rotate pages
- Choose a PDF. Thumbnails of every page render, and all pages begin selected.
- Pick your pages. Click any card to deselect it, or use Select all / Deselect all.
- Rotate. The toolbar turns the whole selection left, right or 180°. Each card also has its own left and right buttons that affect that page alone.
- Check the previews. Thumbnails turn live and show the running angle in blue on any page you have changed.
- Save. The button stays disabled until something is actually rotated, and Reset Rotations undoes everything without reloading the file.
Because all pages start selected, the fastest whole-document fix is simply to load the file and press Rotate Right — no need to select anything first. The header shows the page count, how many are selected and the file size as you work.
Rotation is metadata, not a redraw
This is the difference that matters, and most free tools get it wrong. A PDF page carries a rotation attribute that viewers obey when displaying it. Setting that attribute is a tiny change to the page object — nothing inside the page is touched.

That last row is worth pausing on. Rasterising a page turns readable text into a picture of text, which makes it invisible to screen readers and to any system that searches document contents. A rotation should never cost you that, and here it does not.
Rotations add up, and that is usually what you want
Each press adds to a page's existing rotation and wraps at 360, so four presses of the same button return a page to where it started. The important consequence involves scanners:many scanned pages already carry a rotation flag. A page stored as portrait with a 90° flag looks landscape on screen, and your extra 90° lands it at 180°.
Rather than reasoning about it, use the previews. The thumbnail always shows the final orientation, and the blue angle on each card is the change being applied, not the absolute result. If a page ends up wrong, keep pressing — you will come back round within three clicks.
When pages come out sideways in the first place
Knowing the cause often saves the fix. Sheet-fed scanners frequently misdetect landscape originals and store them upright with a rotation flag. Phone camera scans inherit an orientation from the sensor that varies with how you held the device. Merging documents from several sources mixes conventions in a single file. And print-to-PDF from a spreadsheet often lands wide tables in portrait.

Scope, and what to use instead
This tool rotates pages in one PDF and does nothing else. There is no page-range text box — selection is by clicking thumbnails — no batch mode across multiple files, and no reordering or deleting. Two things worth stating plainly: a password-protected file cannot be opened at all, and a file with permission restrictions but no open password will save as an unencrypted copy, so those restrictions do not survive the round trip.
